In reaction to misinformative and provocative billboards Turkish Americans living in New Jersey/New York have decided to take action. Every one is invited to sign the message below and send it to Outfront Media:
“I am a Turkish-American living in New Jersey/New York.
I am writing/calling you to express my concern about the message displayed on the billboards that you market. They include an unacceptable allegation as “1.5 million Armenians murdered”.
The display of this provocative message on your billboards is a source of serious disturbence for the Turkish-Americans.
It has the risk of triggering enmity against not only Turkish people, but also Turkish-Americans living in New Jersey. Our security is threatened by this message.
Also, there is no political, scientific or legal consensus about the happenings in 1915. We wish you to stay aside from this smear campaign.
As a Turkish-American, I request from you to remove the advertisement immediately.
