WSJ (April 23, 2016) and NYT (Sept. 19, 2016) ADS
Am I the only one who have difficulty in establishing a relationship between these two ads meaning-wise?
Who is the denialist? The first Armenian Prime Minister Katchaznouni?
The wide press coverage Ms Kardashian has generated is impressive.
I wonder how was the coverage of the Final Decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) concerning Perinçek - Switzerland Case in the same media.
Did the readers of those media got the message that ECHR said that Holocaust and 1915 tragic events do not have similarity?
Do they know that the Bundesgericht (The Supreme Court of Switzerland) has overruled its judgment of Doğu Perinçek, a prominent Turkish politician and leader of the Vatan Party, over his conviction for denial of the Armenian genocide in 2005 in Switzerland?
The decision came after the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruled in favor of Perinçek in October 2015, denying allegations of racial discrimination and evaluating his comments about the 1915 event surrounding Armenians within the framework of "freedom of speech."
The court also reversed his judicial fine and ruled that he will receive compensation in the form of 2,500 Swiss Francs ($2,560) from the Federal government and Switzerland-Armenia Association.
Does Kim Kardashian know that German Chancellor Angela Merkel admitted that the parliamentary decision on "genocide" is not legally binding?
As once the French Minister of Foreign Affairs pointed out accepting "genocide" is an opinion, governments and courts cannot act based on opinion.
My grandaunt was raped and killed by Armenian Tashnagtsoutioun chetes. Her baby son and husband were also stabbed and killed like her and other Muslim people who were living in the same settlement. Those who heard about the raid and came to the place next morning saw the writing "Hot meat inside, cold meat outside" first, as they arrived. I am expecting an apology for my grandaunt. Would Kim Kardashian be the first Armenian to say "I am sorry for your grandaunt and other over 500.000 Eastern Anatolian Muslims cleansed by our granddads, and all victims of wars of all peoples?"
