Impact of Silence : Passive Voting

Since I did not expect French Senators to visit my blog I e-mailed my open letter to them. Having received a message which reads "Your message was automatically rejected by Sieve, a mail filtering language. The following reason was given:
Nous avons demandé à être supprimé de votre liste de diffusion" I tried sending the message to some senators several times. I apologize if anyone recived my message more than once.

A senator replied me saying that he does not vote. This response made me think a lot. Both at the Parliament and the Senate this bill passed with very low level of attendance, but passed at the end of the day. The senators who do keep away are actually passive supporters of the bill. Interesting French system apparently does not seek real majority. Therefore keeping away actually means a kind of passive support.

I really wonder if there are 60 senators who genuinely believe in freedom of speech and will oppose to the resolution applying to the Constitutional Court.

World history is full of controversies but such a smash at a democratic value at, at a human right at the cradle of democracy is a shocking one. It is really sad.
