Melisa Atassi, Turco-syrienne, Nil Eyuboglu, Franco-turque students from Sciences Po Paris and Sinan Kesova Sinan, Franco-turc from McGill Montréal universities have written an open letter to President Nicolas Sarkozy, stating that the bill which intends to resrict talking against Armenian Genocide does not conform with freedom of speech and should be withdrawn. I congratulate and support them. Nil, Melisa and Sinan say that historians should deal with this issue. Sinan adds that his personal view is that Turks should apologize but everyone can think in own way. Readers of this blog know that my view is apologies should be mutual and world great powers should apologize to all peoples of this world for the turmoil and sufferings they caused while reshaping the balance of powers on the verge of a new century.
